The examination was participated in by second-year Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (BSMT) and Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering (BSMarE) students of UC-METC. The cadets underwent various assessments designed to evaluate their knowledge, skills, and readiness for the succeeding stages of the companyโs cadetship selection process.
The examination provided aspiring cadets with an opportunity to showcase their capabilities and take a step closer toward gaining practical experience and exposure in the maritime industry.
Through programs such as the cadetship examination, UC-METC students are given opportunities to connect with maritime companies and pursue training experiences that can help prepare them for their future careers at sea.
