The University of Cebu–Lapulapu and Mandaue (UCLM) welcomed Hellenic Manning Overseas Inc. as it conducted a two-day cadet selection for fourth-year maritime students on July 16–17, 2026, at the President’s Office.
The delegation was composed of Mr. Stavros Tiliakos, Owner’s Representative, and Capt. Redentor I. Hecita, Assistant Training Manager, and was welcomed by Capt. Ronelio Tisoy, OIC Dean of Maritime Education, 2/M Juancho Tayo, OBTO Supervisor, and Ms. Julie Pearl Vaño.
A total of 40 fourth-year students, comprising 21 Engine Cadets and 19 Deck Cadets, took part in the selection.
The written examination and the initial oral interviews were conducted on the first day, while the remaining oral assessments were completed on the second day.
